The Bayfront Parkway Corridor Study will consider the existing transit service in the area and how they may be best utilized and/or enhanced as the area grows and develops. Currently, the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) offers three forms of transportation for residents of the city of Erie, the Bayfront and the surrounding areas.

• The bus routes stop at the Intermodal Center, located off the Bayfront Parkway and
travel to various parts of downtown Erie and the surrounding areas.
These routes also offer access to the other routes in the EMTA system.

• The Bayliner Trolley, which offers five total routes, also serve the Bayfront area,
including two Park and Ride lots located along the Bayfront Parkway.

• The third form of transportation offered by the EMTA is the ā€œeā€ Lift service which offers
pre-scheduled transportation for groups outside of the normal EMTA routes.
